I know you like Rogue ;) but... Rogue never was suppossed to be a tank class.

I dont say Im a KO Guru 8-)
but
from my years of KO experience I would say:

WARRIOR defense build
is the tank class. Medium Attack and good HP and Def
Descent skill for party pk

WARRIOR passion build
High Attack - Medium Def
Good for vs, but weak in party pk

Rogue Sin
High Attack Skills but lower HP/AC than warrior
Lightfeed, Stealth, Beasthide, Drain - many specials and escape mechanism

Rogue Archer
Ranged Attacker that can be dangerous also in close combat with 5/3 shots
Should hit high with his shots, but with the risk to die fast, if he stays inside party fights.
Archer is NOT supposed to be a tank in party fights!

Mage
we usually only see Nova Paper Mages on maxko when there is a war like CSW

Support Mages we dont have many - but we are working on that, to bring support Mage back to the server.

Battle Priest
High Attack but not tanky
BPs are a little to tanky on maxko, since we got the lvl 85
People got tons of stats and can switch between Tshield and weapon


Int Priest
Should ofc be the best tank...else the party fights end to fast.

A Rogues defense on Rings must not be the same like the ones from Priests or warrior :!:

well agreed then at least delet dagger defence then form rings
any way that is strange from old knight online
its not fair that warrior hits us with more than 1k hp
and our best skills which have long cool donw hits the same
and others skills is kind of usless
aq i chnaged warrior becouse of that

I've got to agree on that, Assassin don't hit hard enough. For a mage to be able to almost fairly VS a sin and win, that is kinda ridiculous. Assassin damage should be boosted by a good 20-30%

The Problem with DD (and dual wield on Warriors) actually starts with Iron Necklace/belt.

Iron set +3 already gives everyone 26 Wep Def regardless of 1h duals (Dagger, 1h Spears) or 2h weapons.

It seems to me, that the KO developers just overlooked that issue.

Btw...to me the Iron Necklace always was an OP Item - on any KO server I played.
Especially on old school servers.
But thats a different theme
;)

To fully balance dual wield we would have to bring down wep def below 20.
We already considered a change on Necklaces (Iron, FN etc..)

bro about rings in old knight online scholl both waririor and rouges was using the same rings rof same
but here as thier is titan rings and some warrior have attack more than ints prist its my frist time see warrior with like 7k attack power passion warrior with DF set
do you think any sin can kill good warrior with thies attack power
even passion warrior use valk or hero
stell very hard for us
so we nned defence or make some improvemt on our skills and attack power
thats all what i wasnt to say

We have that >7k since old maxko days ;)

Not unusual on a lvl 85 cap server.

Though you cant compare AP between classes.
Its like comparing oranges with apples :D

The actual dmg depends much on the skill itself.
For example:
earthquake does 400% +250 dmg
Zeus 450% +500
Spike 800% +300

it would require some maths to consider all that including different cooldowns and all the different Sin skills ;)

Actually its easier to try some vs between equally geared and skilled players.
And judge things from that.
From my experience Sin vs warrior seems ok.
If the Sin is smart and switch on wep def Daggers...its in favor of Sin (if the warrior isnt smart enough to switch too...)

But like I said before

my goal is to reduce warrior attack skill a little
to increase Rogues attack but reduce def a little
to make Battle - and Support Mage more fun again (TStaff...)
to balance BP with all the above


ofc we cant make it like on some oldschool servers
where a Sin can 2 hit a target
always keep in mind we have the lvl 85 cap and tons of stats and item progression.
So I will do only small changes and see how it works.

And I will always ask about (your) players opinion!

decrease the amount of hp recovery of scorpion scythe..
its impossible to kill a warrior with rogue if he use that weapon since u decreased spear defence from medals. they hitting hard to rogue with it and recovering hp more than we deal .

I need to test it myself...but I trust you and also think that SS+10 might be a lil OP.
After next server restart it will have -6 AP (from 178 to 172)
Lets check if that helps (less AP = less HP absorb)

it would b better if u reduce hp recovery to 50-55, i think. i dont have enough calculation. but i know u will do the best. it has attack speed slow , while other 2h weapons speed is verry slow.. so SS+10 combos r faster than others , and thats why it recovers hp faster..
try add a good shield for rogue nd mage with dagger and arrow defence. chitin shield has only warrior weapon defence.. not verry much but dagger def and arrow def 5-10, will b great for low defence, non str classes
