Hello Everyone!

I have heard many complaints from many players about other players using HP parts to win a VS. Our team wants keep VS's fair for everyone in this aspect. So, our team thought of 3 solutions:

1. Delete ALL HP PARTS of Warriors and Rogues.

Our concern here is:
a. Even though we don't know how many, but there are people who still use HP parts, not for VS, but for specific things like tanking damage from mobs in FT, testing builds, experimenting with damage, etc. So this solution is not entirely good for everyone, but only to those who only use STR sets.
b. HP parts can be used to tank boss damage so you won't die with 1 hit.


2. Delete HP parts for Hero set or Valkyrie set, only choose one.

So, our players get to choose which set will get to keep the HP parts. Let us say, Hero Set will have its HP parts deleted. That means, only valkyrie and legend sets will have HP parts. What happens after this?

a. When doing vs, it will be obvious if you or your opponent is using HP parts because they will use Valkyrie Set, or there will be valkyrie parts.
b. Both players will be forced to only wear Hero sets only to make sure no one is using HP parts.
c. Valkyrie and Legend set/parts will be more expensive because those are the only sets that will allow you to use HP parts.


3. Change the color of HP parts.

Example: STR Hero set will stay Golden Yellow, and HP set will become Blue violet (any color suggestion from you guys would be great).

Why?
a. We can quickly see if players are switching armors from HP to STR or vice-versa.
b. The prices of Hero set and Valkyrie set will stay the same.

Our team thought about this because we understand that when we VS, we want to make sure that the fight is FAIR AND SQUARE, and the winner deserves to be acknowledged as strong and skillful. We also understand that some people feel like they are being cheated on when their opponent is using HP parts.

First of all its nice to see you care about players in general and about their vs in particular.
In my opinion solution number 3 could be the best and the less costly.

It will change color because of switching from HP to STR parts.

alredy done some experiment with this kind of problem before, because of high defense on set and high special defense on acc make hp set way to good on warrior, and rouge can abuse the 5 arrow with fire ring, one easy way to fix this make all set have the same mixed stat, or change the stat requirement for hp,str set..

Hi Jagi!

We can't do that. The armor stats now are pretty much balanced. Each class has their own specific advantages and disadvantages, without them, there's no use for having these classes.

Ex: If all armors were to have all mixed stats.
Mages:
AC same as warrior: if mages will have the same armor defense as warrior, killing them will be close to impossible in CZ. As we all know, mage parties can easily kill players in PK even with the stats they have now. Just imagine if we increased their defense. Our mages here are actually handicapped because we removed some skill effects that are very disruptive like the skill that makes players blind.

HP stats same as other classes:they will have too much HP, they can just TP each other so they can't be killed easily.

Decreased Stat requirement for Armor: We can add more MP or HP. They will have stronger Magic Damage. Our mages now, in a 6/8 mage party can wipe out 1 party (if only 1 pt is inside AOE), imagine them if we decreased their armor stats requirement to increase more HP or Magic Power, mages will destroy CZ.

our mages here are already pretty weak, but they can still wipe out 1-4 parties when they drop novas.

Now, I have only been talking about mages, how much more imbalance will there be when I talk about BP's, or warriors, or even rogues?

The stats are really balanced now. If we change any of it, it can already cause too much imbalance. GM_Anduin did really great work in balancing stats, items, and skills in the server. Just look at it this way:

Rogues have really good damage, can drain your Mana, can run fast, but if rogues won't run or use stealth, they are really easy to kill in PK. They great for VS because of minor heal/arrow shower. Can go solo in PK.

BP can full DB, AWESOME DAMAGE! Low HP and DEF but can heal and buff... but heals can be cancelled. Using full skills in VS makes BP OP in VS. That is why WE DONT VS with BP's who use all skills. BP vs BP is the best vs for BP's. Can go solo in pk.

Warriors have really high defense, descent attack damage, and can teleport to allies. But it can't heal, can only cure once in a while (m23) but makes this class weaker if we get this skill. Can vs with sins, and other warriors, can dominate mages, no chance against BP who will use DB. But can't go solo in PK. Sad life.

Mages can do so much support in PK. Can easily dominate PK in a mage PT. Can do vs with other mages, but gets easily dominated by other classes. We can't make mages stronger to make it stronger in VS, because that will also mean they will be too strong in PK. So many mages are so good in this server even if they mages are NERFED in this server. So mages are often PK classes, not VS classes. Best to stick to mage VS only and not with other classes.

Int Priests... INT PRIEST VS INT PRIEST, the never ending VS. They are only meant to support. But, can easily dominate VS against warriors.

So basically... in terms of items, stats, and stats requirements, the server now is pretty much balanced.

All players should stop thinking about "I WANT MORE POWER FOR THIS CLASS" or "MORE HP OR DEF FOR THIS CLASS"... because the desire behind those statements is just bias for the class that we love, and to dominate by power only without having to exert enough effort to develop skills.

So, I hope you understand.

Let's stick to the solution provided. This is only for VS purposes.

not overall change, just the bonus stat, like 1 part have bonus 15 stamina 50 hp something like that, stamina stat effect AC and HP/MP while str only effect AP, based on my experiment for a vs that take long time weapon with big element dmg like HB deal better dps, 261 AP and 268 AP dosent have big diffrent in term of dps, the current AC on armor already good.

the curent problem is the HP set, and people swithcing set in middle of VS to abuse the big stam effect to overpower the str effect.

lengendary set should have some kind of set bonus like 1000 hp for using full set, with that kind of bonus it woulndt give drastic change on pk, 1000kc just for the look not realy worth it..

I am also thinking of the upgrade for leg set making it worth the price. We will talk about it, but it will take long. It is also not something that everyone would like, but it will be worth it.

So which solution do you choose?
